Toyota A-BAT Concept Hybrid, something futuristic
At the recent Detroit Auto Show Toyota introduced the A-BAT Hybrid Concept.
The Toyota A-BAT features a four-cylinder engine with its system technology Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive, also has transparent solar panels located on the instrument panel to capture sunlight for energy. It has four doors, a pug nose and a sloping roofline that drops on both sides of a four-foot cargo bed that can be extended to six feet by dropping the tailgate a large cabin that may contain elements of the opening of a transparent roof panel. There is also found in storage compartment under the truck moving.
The interior of bright and vibrant colors of this hybrid concept is something futuristic and inspired by high end mountain bikes, folding rear seats for increased cargo capacity, does not have a flyer in the traditional way as we all know, in addition has some screens of information in the dual front driver and passenger.
The concept of Toyota is 23 inches shorter than a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck is also the first Toyota to have a second gate, which increases cargo space into the cabin.
Kevin Hunter, president of Catty Design Research, Inc. said:
“Driving from beyond the suburbs to the city is a way of life for many people,” “We’ve taken Toyota’s truck heritage to a different level to design a vehicle capable of going through the suburbs of maneuver as well as dirt roads . This compact truck is as comfortable for long road trips to. It can accommodate outdoor toys for home improvements and supplies. In addition, customers benefit from low-emission hybrid power and fuel economy”.
It was designed by the California Center on platform with one body and hybrid engine technology, as well as solar panels on the roof to achieve extra energy. This is probably the answer that makes Toyota all environmentalists and all those who are not interested in driving trucks that look more like trucks.
